Why you will be able to only select one Twitter account in Scoop.it Content Director
Twitter recently announced new guidelines to fight against spam and the use of multiple accounts at the same time. One of the key takeaways from the announcement was:
"Do not (and do not allow your users to) simultaneously post identical or substantially similar content to multiple accounts. For example, your service should not permit a user to select several accounts they control from which to publish a given Tweet." (Read more here)
It means that third-party services, such as Scoop.it, can no longer let users share the same post to multiple Twitter accounts at the same time. The deadline for third-party apps to be compliant with these new guidelines is March 23, 2018.
Because of this sudden change, we had to update the way you can share content from Scoop.it to Twitter. Moving forward, you will only be able to select one Twitter account at a time to schedule tweets. However, you'll still be able to keep your different Twitter accounts and schedule as many shares as you want to multiple accounts - just not the same message at the same time.
